The Sweet Smell of Success.

Last night, I had the pleasure of hearing the story of Note fragrance bar in downtown Scranton from owner Danielle Flemming – a psychologist turned entrepreneur of her passions. It was quite refreshing to see an entrepreneur with so much passion and vision setting up shop in our community with a unique business model.

The gathering was part of a NEP-Tech meet up event open to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and more. We networked, listened to Danielle’s driven story and her fascination of the way scents and aromas can affect a persons mood and behavior, and the best part – savored the scents used in her creations.

Her first venture, Danielle and Company, specializes in organic soaps, candles, and lotions that are driven by the psychology of scent has on our mood and behaviors continues to thrive. That passion and her fragrance expertise transformed into her second venture, Note. She continues to create business opportunities for herself and has launched the first fragrance bar of its kind with the Note retail store, where individuals can create a personalized scent in the store and take it home with them during the same visit. Satisfied customers keep their signature fragrances on file for re-orders.
